The doctor communicates with you through messages (chat-appointment).

You can visit without booking an appointment time. Our doctors are available during our opening hours. They will assist you as soon as they have finished with the previous patient. The average waiting time is displayed on our homepage. Our service promise means that we will assist you no later than the specified time from your initial contact during our opening hours.

At the moment, the treatment for a person under the age of 18 is not yet possible because of technical identification issues, but in the future we will add this feature to our range of services.

You can fill out the symptom assessment even when our doctors are not available (see our homepage for current availability). Our doctors will respond to you first thing in the morning when our service opens.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to make referrals to the lab or imaging through our service.

Our doctors are licensed in Finland who have solid experience in telemedicine. Our doctors follow the Current Care Recommendations and the national guidelines for online care. Doctors work on our platform as professionals.

Every person living in Finland who has a valid Kela card is entitled to Kela reimbursement for treatment provided by a doctor - if a medical condition has been treated at the doctor's office. Direct compensation means that we collect Kela compensation on your behalf, so you do not have to deal with Kela in compensation matters.

Our patient information system is a Valvira A1 and A3 security system for patient data processing.

Here are the examples of medication which cannot be written online: PKV medicines: Tenox, Opamox, Diapam, Imovane, Stella, Oxamin, Xanor, Imovane, Dormicum, Temesta or similar; Strong analgesics: Panacod, Tramal, pain patches, morphine-based drugs; ADHD medications: Concerta, Elvanse, Medikinet, Equasym, Methylphenidate, and others; Nerve analgesics: Lyrica, gabapentin, pregabalin, etc; Antibiotics for upper respiratory tract infection or sinusitis; Atarax; Isotretinoin; Eye drops or ointments containing cortisone; Glaucoma drops. We do not prescribe/renew T3 treatments for thyroid diseases nor testosterone medication (gel/injection drugs).

The following medications cannot be prescribed from a remote appoitment: You want to start a slimming medication (e.g. Ozempic/Wegovy), an antihypertensive drug or a diabetes medication; You want to start a drug for depression or anxiety; You need a drug affecting the sentral nervous system, such as Oxamin, Diapam, Xanor, Tenox, or similar; You need an ADHD drug or an ADHD drug prescription renewal; You need cortisone or glaucoma drops in the eye; You need a powerful painkiller such as Panacod, Tramal, etc; You need a nerve pain reliever such as Lyrica, gabapentin, etc.; You need an Antibiotics for sinusitis, ear infection or bronchitis. We do not prescribe T3 treatments for thyroid conditions, nor testosterone prescriptions (gels/injections). We do not write driver's license certificates, B or C Kela statements. The only certificate that we write remotely is a sick leave certificate (SVA certificate).

If you have a valid Kela card, you are entitled to Kela compensation in Finland. We check the right to Kela compensation automatically from the Kela register. Kela reimburses some of the costs when you visit a private doctor due to illness, pregnancy or childbirth. Compensation can be received only for the necessary treatment of the disease.

Kela reimburses one reception visit per day per customer. If you need help with another condition during the same day, you can start a new appointment, in which case the remote doctor's appointment will cost you a total of 8 eur.

Then our service will cost you nothing and you will be directed to a more suitable healthcare service provider.

Please note that Kela-reimbursed remote appointments are intended for the treatment of different illnesses. If a situation arises where you need a doctor's treatment on the next day e.g. in another issue, you can visit a doctor again. If the appointment issue is not the treatment of an illness and Kela rejects the right to Kela compensation, we will send you an invoice to your email (18 eur).

The summary of the visit, e-prescriptions, and certificates are saved in Kanta. E-prescriptions can be collected immediately after the consultation from any pharmacy in Finland.
